Dr. Cari Thachuk
Dr. Cari is a board-certified, licensed naturopathic doctor and physical therapist. She holds a Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University, the leading naturopathic medical school in North America, as well as two Masters Degrees in physical therapy from The University of Pittsburgh. She has developed a special interest in the treatment of neuro-endocrine disorders as well as healing many issues realted to digestion. As a two-time survivor of breast cancer, Dr. Cari brings a unique perspective to her medical practice, caring for each individual patient with the utmost sensitivity to their physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Cari loves her puppy, Serena, who has become her greatest paddle-boarding companion. Dr. Cari also likes to run and and truly loves yoga. One of her biggest passions is traveling the world.
Dr. Heidi Hook
Dr. Heidi Hook was born and raised in Auburn. Dr. Heidi is a 1996 graduate of
Bastyr University, the leading naturopathic medical school in North America. Growing up with her dad as a local doctor inspired her to pursue medicine herself. Personal illness with questions left unanswered by western medicine led her in the direction of naturopathic medicine. Dr. Heidi is passionate about helping people with anxiety and depression see that there are infinite possibilities on their path to healing. She has seen naturopathic medicine work in herself and is continually inspired by the improvement she sees in her own health every year.
Dr. Heidi fills her time with her husband and 2 beautiful daughters. Together they enjoy rock-climbing, finding inspiration for her husband’s metal art and playing with their dogs.
Dr. Danni Ballere
Dr. Danni Ballere is a licensed and Board Certified Naturopathic Doctor. She graduated from the accredited
National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland Oregon in 2009. She has a passion for nutrition and an additional degree in Nutritional Science. Dr. Danni has a deep personal connection to caring for individuals with cancer by providing them with a comprehensive, personalized, and holistic wellness plan that also includes IV micronutrient therapy.
In her spare time she enjoys the outdoors, appreciating nature, riding horses, gardening, and cooking delicious and nutritious food.
Paula Gregory
Paula has been a skin care specialist since 1986. She also worked for MAC cosmetics for 10 years as an
operations manager opening new locations and doing make-up for fashion shows. Paula and her husband moved here 10 years ago. Paula enjoys working with people to improve there skin by using all natural or organic products. Paula has also studied with a variety of yoga teachers and has a great respect for the the practice and how it can change a person on so many levels. Paula has over 1000 hrs in training and is a registered yoga teacher. She teaches group and private classes.
When not giving facials or teaching yoga she can be found playing with her dogs, Jackie and Mason.
Joy Day
Joy Day is a certified Colon Hydrotherapist and is a member of I-Act, the International Association for Colon
Therapists. She has been providing colonics and massage for over 10 years. Joy’s presence with you during a potentially vulnerable procedure is very nurturing. From Joy you can expect focused attention during your colonic, a peaceful atmosphere, and an understanding of the body/mind/spirit connection.
Joy Day also brings to the service of Colon Hydrotherapy 12 years experience as a Certified Massage Therapist, trained in Swedish and Deep Tissue modalities.
Chelsea Doupnik
Chelsea Doupnik is one of the smiles that you will see at the front desk. She answers the phones, schedules
appointments, and keeps us organized. She grew up in a holistic household and has a passion for being healthy and happy. Her desire to help and serve others is the key to our success at the front desk.
Her other passion is cooking and will easily accept the label of ” a foodie”. Travel is also on her list and allows her to bring some international flair to our office.
Alex Rodriguez
Alex Rodriguez is the Office Manager at Bukovina. She graduated from San Diego State University with a
Liberal Arts degree in 1993. She has worked in many different facets of management and customer service; including corporate offices, restaurant management and assisting in new store openings around the world. Alex’s desire is to reach out into communities and bring awareness of the benefits of naturopathic treatment to others. She has a strong desire to serve and support others and to facilitate the day to day business activities and solutions to help enhance the patient/ client experience at Bukovina.
With her passion for travel, Alex knows there is so much more to see and do in the world and shares that passion with her 13 year daughter and her husband. In her spare time, she loves to spend time hiking with her dog, going on bike rides, swimming, camping, listening and sharing music and is “extremely appreciative” of good wine and good food.
